For a heavier street rider doing novice track days, is the rear spring the first limitation, or should fork work happen as a package?

Measure sag at both ends before ordering parts. My rear spring was clearly outside range while the fork had enough adjustment for a first season.

A suspension shop can stage the work and preserve a useful balance. Replacing one end based only on forum consensus can create a new problem.

Fresh correct-weight fork oil and a baseline setup are worth doing before expensive internals.
