I know leather wins for abrasion and textile is easier around town. For genuinely hot and humid sportbike riding, what setup are you still willing to put on every time?

Smooth is fast enough.

    Perforated leather works once moving but is rough at long lights. A wicking base layer makes a bigger difference than I expected.

    My honest answer is an AA-rated mesh jacket because I consistently wear it. The best theoretical jacket does nothing hanging in the garage.

    Light colors help, and I plan routes around traffic. Hydration and stopping before fatigue matter as much as the material debate.

    Street miles, track lessons.
