Not looking for a specific insurer recommendation. What wording or exclusions should a first-timer clarify before assuming a normal motorcycle policy covers a non-competitive riding school?

Ask in writing about closed-course use, timing, instruction, and whether the event is described as education or competition. Small wording differences matter.

Also ask the organizer what medical coverage they require and what their waiver does not cover. Bike coverage and injury coverage are separate questions.
