Set reach with gloves on and confirmed the front brake fully releases. Keeping the stock pair in the roadside kit.

Wet-weather practice — 2024 Triumph Daytona 660

Used a familiar route to work on smooth braking and relaxed steering inputs. Rain mode helped throttle response but did not change the available grip.

Annual coolant change — 2022 BMW S 1000 RR

Drained, flushed, refilled slowly, and verified fan operation after a complete heat cycle. Labeled the fairing fasteners during removal.

Vibration-isolated phone mount — 2019 Suzuki GSX-R600

Checked clearance at full lock and with the fork compressed. Navigation is readable without crowding the ignition.

North Cascades weather test — 2024 Honda CBR1000RR

Used a windproof mid-layer and packed lighter gloves. Temperature swing was manageable without overfilling the tail bag.

Front pad inspection and clean — 2020 Kawasaki Ninja 650

Removed the pads, cleaned the calipers carefully, checked remaining material, and reassembled to factory torque.

Mounted the base under the passenger seat so no strap touches paint. Enough room for rain layer, water, and a small tool roll.

Replaced mismatched fasteners with the correct collars and well nuts. Panels now come off without guessing which bolt belongs where.
