The tapered ankle works well inside sport boots. Trying them in a riding crouch caught a knee-armor position issue before I removed the tags.

For a heavier street rider doing novice track days, is the rear spring the first limitation, or should fork work happen as a package?

The shop documented sag, fork position, tire pressure, and mode settings. That made later changes understandable instead of random.

Leather gives a little, but stretch panels should already be doing their job. Do not buy pain and call it future break-in.
